Zoning changes to open up new possibilities for buyers

The WA Planning Commission recently approved a Scheme Amendment relevant to the ongoing development of Wildflower Ridge Estate, following support from the Shire of Chittering and numerous government referral agencies.

The planning changes sought to increase zoning density from ‘R2’ to ‘R5’, which means that buyers will now have greater choice in the size of their lot at Wildflower Ridge Estate.

New lots will have a minimum frontage of 40m to ensure that the rural ambience and farm style character of the area is maintained, but buyers will no longer be restricted to a minimum lot size 5,000m2.

With the changes now in effect, the latest Stage 4A release offers buyers the opportunity to snap up lots ranging from 2,600m2 to 3,649m2 to build their dream home on.

Sales Agent for Wildflower Ridge Estate, Ron Lyster, says it’s a win-win for buyers who are seeking more manable lots at highly affordable prices.

“These changes, coupled with the fact that it’s a 35 minute drive to Perth airport and the provision of scheme water make Wildflower Ridge Estate an incredibly compelling opportunity for buyers.”

Plus, with future plans to develop the Public Open Space with expansive reticulated lawns, a feature playground, BBQ facilities and other amenities, the estate’s appeal will only continue to grow.
